The Curated Fridge Fotofest, Houston, TX 3/12 – 5/10, 2026
Two of my images from the Unearthing an Insane Past printed in 4 x 6 postcard size went to Houston TX as part of The Curated Fridge Fotofest Biennial 2026! Juried by Madi Murphy, Associate Curator of FotoFest and Yorgos Efthymiadis, Boston based photographer, curator and creator of the Curated Fridge. This year’s theme was Transformation as in transformation in personal, social, cultural, environmental, or political contexts. TCF welcomed a wide range of photographic approaches, from documentary and portraiture to experimental and conceptual work.
My images selected were The Ladies Room and Split Personality, seen here each on a separate refrigerator. The Ladies Room is right near the coffee pot and Split Personality is on the upper left corner under the red FotoFest magnet.
The Curated Fridge was created by Yorgos Efthymiadis, recently celebrated 10 years of exhibitions along with featuring more than 1500 artists in 45 shows juried by 50 guest curators.
