I received the exciting news on the morning of August 10^th that my series, Unearthing an Insane Past, has been invited to be part of Critical Mass Top 200!  This is a first for me and such an honor to have this work selected.  I also love seeing many friends’ names on the list.  We all go on to the next round where they will choose the Top 50. 

Jessica Roscio, Director and Curator of the Danforth Museum in Framingham, MA, is the juror for the New England Collective XVI, regional juried exhibition at Galatea Fine Art in Boston, MA.  This exhibit brings together 46 talented New England artists working in a diverse range of techniques and media.  She has invited two of my assemblages to be part of this show: A Cup of Communion and A Cup of Melancholy. 

Barbara Tannenbaum,Curator of Photography, Chair of Prints, Drawings, and Photographs, Cleveland Museum of Art, juried this year’s 32nd annual members exhibition at the Griffin Museum of Photography.  I am honored to have my one-of-a-kind mixed media photograph, Hanging Fence, as part of this show.  Hanging Fence is an archival pigment print mounted on Dibond with an additional vintage photograph applied on the front giving it a 3D appearance.  It is part of my Unearthing an Insane Past series and measures 24 x 36 inches.

I am excited to have my mixed media photograph: Arching Despair, invited to Rhode Island Center for Photographic Arts 12^th International Exhibition by Crista Dix, Executive Director of the Griffin Museum of Photography.   Arching Despair is a one-of-a-kind mixed media image from my Unearthing an Insane Past series.

Each year A Smith Gallery’s directors: Amanda Smith and Kevin Duffy curate 4 virtual exhibits by photographers.  These exhibits are the Photographic Performance 2026. They base their decisions on five criteria: narrative power, quality of images, creativity, originality and unity.  It is such an honor to be one of the 4 artists chosen and to have my series Unearthing an Insane Past as part of this year’s Performances 2026.
